Stepping Into Spring: New Creative Workshops at Blooms and Evergreen
As winter fades and the first signs of spring begin to bloom, we slowly come out of hibernation. The longer days, softer light and the first shoots of green bring with them a renewed sense of energy and inspiration. It’s the time of year when creativity begins to stir again, when we feel that familiar spring in our step and the desire to make, plant, build and create.

At Blooms and Evergreen, spring always marks the beginning of a new creative season. After the quiet of winter, we’re delighted to introduce a fresh collection of hands-on workshops designed to reconnect people with creativity, nature and mindful making.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, learn a craft, or simply spend a few hours immersed in creativity, our spring workshops offer something for everyone.
Life Stuck Together | The Visual Journal
Our Visual Journal Workshop invites you to explore storytelling through collage, paper and memory. Life Stuck Together is a relaxed creative session where fragments of paper, photographs, textures and colour come together to create a deeply personal visual journal.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in creating a journal for creative journaling, scrapbooking, collage art or memory keeping (anything), and no previous experience is needed. It’s less about writing and more about capturing moments visually, a gentle, expressive way to document life’s little details.
Paper Pots and Seeds
Spring is the perfect time to begin growing something new. In our Paper Pots and Seeds Workshop, participants will craft sustainable seed pots using simple paper techniques before planting the beginnings of their own spring garden.
This workshop celebrates slow living, sustainability and the joy of nurturing plants from seed. It’s a wonderfully calming experience that connects creativity with nature, leaving you with both a handmade creation and something living to take home and grow. Put together by a positive psychologist to help enable you to bloom.
Moss Hanging Bag / Basket Workshop
For those who want to create their own hanging masterpiece, our Moss Hanging Bag and Basket Workshop explores natural textures and organic design. Using moss and planting techniques, you’ll create a beautiful hanging planter that adds greenery and softness to any home or garden space.
Moss planters have a timeless, earthy aesthetic and are perfect for biophilic interiors, garden rooms or small outdoor spaces (and last for years).
Spring Wreath-Making Workshop
One of our most loved seasonal experiences returns this year: the Spring Wreath-Making Workshop.
Wreaths aren’t just for winter, spring wreaths celebrate the arrival of new life with fresh foliage, delicate flowers and soft seasonal textures. During the workshop, participants will learn how to design and construct a natural wreath using a carefully selected mix of spring foliage and flowers.
The finished wreath can be used to decorate your front door, interior spaces, or even as a seasonal table feature. It’s a beautiful way to welcome spring into your home.
Signature Scent Lab
A new addition to our creative programme is the Signature Scent Lab, a sensory workshop where participants create a fragrance completely their own.
Designed and led by a qualified homoeopath, this workshop explores the relationship between scent, memory and well-being. You’ll learn about fragrance blending, natural oils and scent composition while developing a personalised scent that reflects your own preferences and personality.
It’s a deeply immersive and aromatic experience, perfect for anyone curious about natural fragrance, aromatics and the art of scent creation.
Celebrating International Women’s Month
Alongside our new workshops, we’re also hosting a special International Women’s Month celebration workshop during the final weekend of the month. This event will bring together creativity, conversation and community to honour and celebrate women through making and shared creative experience.
