About Blooms and Evergreen

Blooms and Evergreen was founded by Jasmin to create modern, nature led experiences that make human connection easier in city life.

We design workshops, seasonal sessions and creative gatherings rooted in inclusion, fun and genuine connection. Our work is thoughtful without being heavy, creative without needing confidence and welcoming to people exactly as they are.

Jasmin Founder and Co Director

Jasmin is the founder of Blooms and Evergreen and co director of its creative vision. She has extensive experience curating events, workshops and shared spaces that bring people together in natural, welcoming ways.

Her background spans hands on event creation, creative programming and gardening, with a long standing interest in how nature, making and shared experiences can soften urban life. Jasmin’s approach is practical and intuitive, with close attention to atmosphere, flow and the small details that help people feel at ease quickly.

Across her work, gardening is not decorative but lived, informing how seasonal rhythms, materials and environments are used to ground experiences. Jasmin leads Blooms and Evergreen with a focus on inclusion, warmth and creating spaces where connection happens easily.

Majella Co Director

Majella is a co director of Blooms and Evergreen, bringing a background in positive psychology, therapeutic practice and community based work.

She has had an allotment for over 18 years and keeps bees, grounding her work in long term, hands on relationship with growing, seasonality and care for the natural world. Alongside this, she has spent many years designing and holding spaces that support emotional wellbeing, connection and reflection in ways that feel accessible rather than clinical.

At Blooms and Evergreen, Majella helps shape workshops that are emotionally safe, thoughtfully paced and genuinely useful. She is particularly interested in how simple creative acts, nature based practices and shared experiences can strengthen connection, resilience and a sense of belonging.

A shared history

Jasmin and Majella have known each other for 16 years and share a long history of co curating events, spaces and experiences that bring people together in meaningful, accessible ways.

In 2013, Majella founded Urban Woot, a pop up autonomous collective based on Queens Parade in Willesden Green. Jasmin co-curated the space and led on many of the events. Urban Woot is widely recognised as the UK’s first “happiness on the high street” shop, created from a desire to make human connection easy, visible and part of everyday urban life.

Urban Woot became a hub for creativity and connection. Alongside the shop, we hosted salons in members clubs across Soho, pop up supper nights for special occasions, mindfulness classes and hands on making workshops. These gatherings explored what it means to live a joyful, connected life in the city.

The collective collaborated with chefs and makers including;

  • Jesse Dunford Wood of Parlour and Six Portland Road

  • Azim Kadiri of Kadiris, NW10

  • James Hughes Davies of Little Jack’s

Urban Woot also stocked menswear designer, Martine Rose’s back catalogue alongside bespoke artworks and designer mugs, all created by London based artists and makers. We were very lucky to count Marina Belfon Rose (MUA) as one of our co-creators!

How we work now

Blooms and Evergreen grows directly from this shared experience.

Jasmin and Majella are co directors, designing all workshops and experiences together. Creative direction is shared, with close attention paid to atmosphere, pacing and materials that feel contemporary, welcoming and unfussy.

Nature and seasonality provide a grounding framework, not as symbolism alone but as something practical and familiar. Making becomes a way in. Conversation follows naturally. Connection is allowed to happen without pressure or performance.

Who it’s for

Our workshops are open to everyone, whether you consider yourself creative or not. We work with friends, community groups, teams and organisations looking for experiences that feel human, engaging and genuinely enjoyable.

People come for connection. They leave with something they have made and a sense of having been properly present.

Work with us

We run public workshops, private group sessions and bespoke experiences for organisations and events. We can host you or bring the workshop to your space.
